Lenore

Lenore has been made from a heaviy distressed, black mohair.  Her fur has been trimmed, plucked, shaved  to give the impression of an older bear who has some wear.  Her contrasting pale biscuit foot pads are made from English woolfelt. She is filled with woodwool, polyester fibre and steel weight.  She has black glass eyes, a vertically embroidered and waxed black nose and hand painted shading to her face.  She wears a hand made, black (in some photos it appears grey) lawn, Victorian style dress with pintucks on the skirt and sleeves, ruffled lace detail on the bodice and a soft grossgrain sash. Trimmed with additional vintage black lace and fastening  at the back with tiny black buttons and loops, a lightweight, ivory lawn and vintage lace petticoat completes her outfit.
