Ophelia

Ophelia is a 14" girl bear made from  an off white, vintage Hungarian linen fabric. She has a hand embroidered floral wreath on her head, right wrist and left foot pad. She has been filled with a mix of woodwool and polyester fibre and is reassuringly weighted in her tummy, paws and ankles with steel. She has hand painted detail to her face, a mossy brown embroidered and waxed vertical nose and English glass eyes. The tips of her paws, toes and ears have been lightly stained. The bodice of her dress has been made from pale pink silk and is embroidered with pale pink roses and fastens with 4 vintage mother of pearl buttons. Her skirt has been created from 2 layers of ivory silk tulle with a blush pink soft tulle underskirt.
